Clean the contact surfaces of the differential case and ring gear. Heat the ring gear to approximately 100°C (212°F) in boiling water. Carefully take the ring gear out of the boiling water. After the moisture on the ring gear has completely evaporated, quickly install the ring gear onto the differential case.Step #2: Once you have access to LA2, disconnect the battery (for safety), unplug the LA2 connector by pressing the white tab on the "passenger" side of the plug and gently pulling. Don't pull on the wires, pull on the plug itself. Once you have the female plug out, you will need to remove the male side of the plug.
