He has roller rockers to go with them. The 327 is dead and now he has a LT-1 which he is putting into his 67 camaro. I currently have a mainly stock 350 with 882 76cc ...They will not have camel humps like the 70 version. The only real difference between the 1970 LT-1 370 HP engine and the 1971 LT-1 330 hp was the chamber size for compression reduction for emissions. If they are the small chamber with camel humps the are 1970 model heads and the seats need leaded fuel. Supposedly the 71's were unleaded friendly.736 posts · Joined 2010. #2 · Apr 25, 2011. depends on your hp goals, the 194 will be good stock till about 3-350hp. the 202 heads will be slightly better but if you just look at the valve size change by itself it's worth like 5hp maybe. now, i don't know if the runners are that much bigger or not in the 202 heads, but i'd stay with the 194 ...The bigger ports are worth 15-30 hp depending on engine configuration, disregard what Chevy rated them. Currently, 461 Camel hump heads with 1.94/1.60 valves.The cost of a quality rebuild on those heads will make them marginal against the value of almost any iron head available today. The latest vortec design, about $550 a pair new, is far better out of the box and any after market choice competes with them quite well. Some even flow better than the lower end aluminum parts.The phrase "Camel Hump" or "Double Hump" heads comes from this casting boss with the two ears or bumps.
