The SP5K can't be suppressed and doesn't have the paddle mag release. There's a lot of aftermarket support for the MP5, even Magpul has accessories coming soon. The SP5 is the only one worth getting. Personally, I use the Silencerco 3-lug adapter on my SP5/SP5K. Since I use the 3 lug exclusively, I put some blue loctite on my OEM thread protectors and they havent budged. I was under the impression that you want to have the TP mounted when using a 3-lug mount.
