The bird was origionally an automatic that was converted to a 4-speed back in the late 50's, early 60's. The owner wanted it returned to an automatic and Dale did the work. The engine is a 312 Y-Block.Object moved to here.

From 1968 throught 1971, and into 1972 slightly, the C8AE-H was about the only head you could find on a non-427/non-CJ FE. By 1972 the D2TE-AA replaced the C8AE-H.
