I have had Royal Purple MT oil (synthetic) which does not have the LS additives. The bottles say "for Manual Transmission". If you use the other RP oil, its bot going to help the synchros and could cause occasional grinding. The dealership says that this is the right oil. The owner's manuals for 2007-2013 FJs specify gear oil 75W90 API GL-4 or GL-5. Interestingly, the 2014 owner's manual specifies 75W90 API GL-4.
